This week’s Weekly Photo Challenge is Dreaming or Rêver, en français.  

I have been away from the land of blogging for a few days.  Life just keeps getting in the way.  My goal is to get caught up soon and return to a more regular blogging schedule.  I miss you!

In the meantime, enjoy the pictures of dreaming…

A dream is a wish your heart makes

(This picture makes me tear up whenever I see it.  It’s my youngest daughter who, more than anything else in the world, wants a younger sibling to love, preferably a sister.  Unfortunately for her, she was the last child.  In this picture, she was pretending that this doll was her baby sister because we had just had a discussion about the fact that we were definitely not going to have any more children.  She was so sad.  She still dreams of having a younger sibling and often asks about adoption and fostering a child.  I am praying that she will someday be blessed with children of her own.  She will make a wonderful mother.)

French author Anna de Noailles said, “Rien n’est vrai mais les rêves et l’amour.”  Nothing is real but dreams and love.
