This week’s Last week’s Weekly Photo Challenge is “Home.” I translated it “Chez Moi” which loosely means “my place.” I don’t know of a direct English to French translation for the word “home.” House is la maison, but house is different from home.
Home is family.
“Home is where the heart is.” − Pliny, the elder
“There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.” − Dorothy, The Wizard of Oz
Home is friends.
“Home is where the heart is, but happiness is where the friends are.” − Unknown
“Home is not where you live, but where they understand you.” − Christian Morgenstern
Home is love.
“For the two of us, home isn’t a place. It is a person.” − Anna and the French Kiss
Happy Valentine’s Day! May you be blessed with a loving “home.”
~FTW

Je vous souhaite une journée pleine d’amour, aussi. Je t’embrasse, ~FTW.
Merci … !!!
Awwww…you made me cry. What lovely words and beautiful pictures. AND I finally got to see you oh gorgeous one. Toute la famille est tres belle (yeah…might want to French check me on that one).
Merci bien! No French-checking necessary. Parfait! I’m always behind the camera, very rarely in front of it. And I like it that way.
