The boys ask for this snack recipe often, so much so that we have shortened the name to Buff Chick Dip. It will not make you buff nor is there anything French about it (unless you count the “Bleu” cheese dressing), but it is easy and delicious. Also reheats well in the microwave.
Ingredients
- 2 Chicken Breast halves
- 2 8 oz. packages cream cheese
- 3/4 cup Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing
- 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing (Use all Blue Cheese or all Ranch or any mixture of the two to equal 1 cup of dressing to suit your taste)
- 1 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
Preheat oven to 350°. In a pot of water, boil chicken for about 20 minutes or until cooked through. While chicken is boiling, put remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix until combined. When chicken is finished cooking, shred in food processor and add shredded chicken to mixing bowl. Stir chicken into cream cheese mixture and pour into casserole or baking dish. Bake for about 30 minutes or until it is hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks, nacho chips or crackers.
