Tsk. Tsk. I just posted last week’s challenge and this week’s challenge has already been announced. No sooner do I begin than I am already behind. And, in reviewing the directions, I realized that I am supposed to take the picture during the week of the challenge and then post it. Hence, the challenge. To try to find something to photograph during the week.
As much as I really want to participate, I may have to cheat and use photos that I have previously shot. I have a family and a yard and the woods and a stream and 597 places to go during the week, not to mention mountains of laundry, cooking, and cleaning, and so on. So I don’t always have time during the week to prance about looking for just the right shot. Some days I feel fortunate to have time to brush my teeth. But I will try to comply. For next week’s challenge. Now that I have read the rules more thoroughly.
Here is this week’s Photo Challenge: Through. The setting sun is seen through the clouds, through the rigging.
If you do not have a blog and would like to post a Weekly Photo Challenge picture for “Through” on my blog, simply email it to me at FrenchTwistedWoman@gmail.com. Also let me know how you would like to be recognized, (first name only, full name, made-up name), and I will add it to this page.
Thanks for playing the Weekly Photo Challenge.
XOXO,
Bebe

What an excellent interpretation of the challenge. I hear you on the difficulty of finding the time to meet these challenges and I don’t have even half of your responsibilities.
Really enjoy your blog.
Thanks so much for your kind words. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Merci bien and thanks much for stopping by.
I think many people look through their archives – which makes for some interesting photos from all over the world.
Phew! Thanks. I really wanted to participate but didn’t want to be a “cheater.” Glad to know I’m not the only archivist.

Hi….
Don’t worry about taking a photo during the week!
I dig through my archives! I’m sure most people do the same thing.
Relax and have fun digging through your previously taken shots. To me, that’s a challenge in itself! By the way….I love your photo for Through! Great work!
Merci and thanks for stopping by. Please visit again soon!
I often look through my archives of photos before going out on the week’s challenge. It makes me appreciate the photos I’ve already taken. I have used some that was put to the side, thinking they were bad, because I found them useful for the challenge. I’m always with my camera and ready to take a shot, anyway. It becomes a challenge for me to decide the one(s) I want to enter. So, if you’re a cheater, you’re not alone. 🙂
I love your photo entry. Great capture. Sara captured a great scene, also.
Thank you for your comment. And I’ll let Sara know you liked her photo as well. So happy that you stopped by. Merci beaucoup!

Merci pour le link.
I agree – you’re not alone if you have to cheat! 🙂 I try to take photos according to the week’s challenge, but often I have something in my files that is much more appropriate for the topic. It actually got to the point that I had to quit keeping up with the challenge for a month of two because I couldn’t keep up. lol! I was the one that always posted shots for the last challenge after the new one had already gone up. 🙂
That being said – don’t worry as much about those details and try to have fun with it and challenge yourself! This is a great picture for this challenge – I really enjoyed it! And it’s great that you’re allowing other people to send you photos so that they can participate as well. Hope you have a great week! 🙂
Yes, that’s what I did. Posted my first challenge (Unusual) on Friday, not realizing that that was the day that the new challenge (Through) had already been announced. I’ll be ready for it this week, now that I know the procedure. Thank you for your kind words. Bonne semaine à vous! 🙂
