I was making this, in a hurry, on the way to a party, and forgot to take pictures as I went along – sorry. This is another old standby as I always keep these ingredients on hand. Super easy, super fast – great for the SuperBowl!
Ingredients:
- 2 8 oz. packages of Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 4 oz. can chopped Green Chilies
- 1 4 oz. can chopped Jalapeños (or sliced from jar and chop your own)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (Optional)
Combine all ingredients, except Parmesan Cheese, in a mixing bowl. Mix until well blended. Spread in a casserole dish and sprinkle Parmesan Cheese on top. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes until it is bubbly and cheese is golden brown.
Serve with whole wheat crackers, tortilla chips or celery. You can adjust this recipe to your taste by adding more jalapeños if you like it hotter.

Thank you for the link. I am sure there are many variations out there. I have been using this recipe for years and love it because there are so few ingredients and they are staples that I always have on hand. So when I need to take an appetizer somewhere at the last minute and don’t have time to go to the store, this is convenient and easy. Thanks for reading my post! Bon Appetit!
