Today is Vincent Van Gogh’s birthday and I am sharing my Favorite Friday thing.
Although he was Dutch and not French, he did paint while in Paris. Due to my francophilian tendencies, I have a penchant for impressionist paintings. Many of the impressionist artists were French – Manet, Monet, Renoir, Degas, and Cèzanne, to name a few. Do I like them because they are French or do I like them and they just happen to be French? We’ll never know.
My father replicates masterpieces for a hobby. This is my Favorite Friday thing, which happens to be a copy of a Van Gogh, which happens to hang in my living room.
It makes me smile whenever I look at it, because I love the painting and because my father painted it for me.

All you have to do is find it on youtube (google “Vincent” paintings youtube) and then copy and paste the address from the headers at the top of your browser that shows the URL or http address. Then push update (or pulblish on a post that hasn’t been published) and WordPress does the rest. Easy peasy!
